Rosie Huntington-
Whiteley is an English Actress and Model, who started collaborating with Marks
& Spencer in 2012.
Her ‘Rosie For
Autograph’ range started off with vintage inspired Lingerie, which is fabulous
by the way- I wear it myself and later expanded to include sleepwear, fragrance
and active wear.
The latest addition
to this expansion is a complete cosmetics collection, which launched on
Wednesday 27 January 2016.
WHAT DOES ROSIE
HUNTINGTON-WHITELEY HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THIS COLLECTION?
"For me, make-up
made sense as the next step because I have a genuine love for it. Like lingerie
and fragrance it's something that's very personal to a woman, and something
that we use every day. When we started, we considered a capsule collection, but
once we began playing around there were so many things I wanted to include. We
wanted it to suit everybody - all ages, all skin types - and for that you
obviously need to have a certain amount of product. That's a philosophy we've
brought over from the lingerie, things being for everybody, and I hope that's
what we've achieved."
WHAT DOES THE BLACK
MANNEQUIN HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THIS COLLECTION?
From what I have
personally seen, the line has a parallel to her Rosie for Autograph lingerie
collections as it utilizes a lot of neutrals with the colour palette comprising
of pinks, creams, browns and metallics. I believe this to be a winning
combination as it makes the collection extremely versatile. You can easily wear
this everyday and build it up for a night-time look.
In addition to that,
I love the vintage inspired packaging which gives the collection a very premium
feel and at first glance poses subtle similarity to the Charlotte Tilbury range
for a fraction of the price with pieces ranging from £10- £18. I would love to see her develop the range a little more, perhaps by introducing some make-up brushes.
THE COLLECTION
ps. some of these come in a range of colours but I have only posted two of each to avoid a picture heavy post.
