Nancy Drew

Hey Guys & Dolls,
Welcome back to the last instalment of the series. I am both excited and sad to write this post. I am sad because the series is over and excited because I can bring you the next instalment. If you have been following the DM brand, you will have probably seen this look before. That’s right, I am plagiarising myself. LOL!!!
This post is called ‘NANCY’ and modelled after Nancy Drew, a fictional character played by Emma Roberts. The only word I can use to describe her wardrobe in the movie is ‘heritage’ and I love the heritage trend. It is almost the modest approach to an understated put-together look.
ps. this is the movie that got me into loafers. I just love them!

ZENDAYA

Hey Guys & Dolls,
Welcome back to my blog. I am so excited to bring you the penultimate instalment of my Back to School Series, which is inspired by ZENDAYA. If you do not know who Zendaya is, you must be living under a rock. She is a singer, actress, dancer and model who has lead roles on shows like Shake It Up and K.C. Undercover as well as a recurring role on the second season of my favourite show, EMPIRE. YAY!!!
This back to school look is inspired by Zoey Stevens; a character Zendaya played in the movie, ZAPPED. If you’re into the arts e.g. dance, music etc as well as fashion and want to find common ground between your different creative outlets, then this look is for you.

RITA

Hey Guys & Dolls,
For the fourth instalment of the series, I thought I’d try something a little different and outside my comfort zone. Whilst I love a variety of sports which include but aren’t limited to football, tennis and cricket, I am so not into athletic dressing.
I love the Sports Luxe trend and do own my fair share of smart joggers and bomber jackets but if you know me, you know a pair of high-heeled sandals usually accompanies them.
I have taken inspiration from Rita Ora, who in my opinion does both Sports Luxe and Sporty Chic extremely well. If you’re the type who loves the laid back and comfortable feel/wear of sporty clothes, then RITA is your girl. I hope y’all like it!

PS. A big massive shout out to my little brother who let me borrow his clothes and coached me through some of the shots in this post. Love You XO

CHER

Hey Guys and Dolls,
We are halfway through the series and I don’t know about you but I am having a ball with these shoots. This post brings you an outfit inspired by the famous Cher Horowitz from the hit TV show, Clueless.
Cher, along with her best friend, made school outfits an art and if you’re a plaid lover, you wanna watch out for Cher. She took the love of plaid to the nines. It is almost like a re-vamp of your classic school uniform!
