Checks & Balances

Hey Guys & Dolls,

Today’s post is going to be showing y’all my last OOTD for August. I have had a ball experimenting with casual pieces and trying to find my casual style. I have trialled and tested pieces that I wouldn’t have given a second look as well as pulling out old favorites I have had for years but haven’t got much wear out of. Either way, I really hope that y’all were here for the looks I have put together this summer and it isn’t about to stop yet cause I have a new series coming up for y’all and I am so excited. I really cannot wait for y’all to see it.

Skincare Regimen I

Hey Guys & Dolls,

I thought I would update y’all on my current skincare regimen. Following my last update on the Rodial Bee venom and the PIXI glycolic ranges, I have since stripped my routine back a little.

As of late, I started using the Nubian Heritage African Black Soap to wash my face day and night and whilst, I have been inconsistent with daily usage, I can see results already. After washing my face, I tend to moisturise with my extra virgin coconut oil. Absolutely love that stuff. I love it so much, I actually use it to moisturise my entire skin.

In addition to that, if you follow me on snapchat, you will see that I have increased my water intake from 250ml to 1L a day. I am still finding it difficult to drink water but Rome wasn’t built in a day. My aim is to drink 1.5L a day by the end of the year.

Welcome back to my blog. Summer is finally upon us and I am so excited to show you another product of my experimentation.

When you think summer, no one ever thinks black but I walked into ZARA a few days ago and saw this longline tee and knew straightaway that I wanted it. I hadn’t even walked outta the store yet before all the different styling ideas started dancing around in my head. I wanted to show you the first idea that popped into my head. I had imagined this look with a leather jacket and sunglasses but seeing, as it is 32 degrees outside, I am not trying to play myself.

Lost Angels

Hey Guys & Dolls,

Welcome back to my blog. We are experiencing such an interesting summer in the UK right now. One minute the sun is out and you can walk around in shorts without a jacket, the next minute; we’re amidst a rainstorm.

However, it is extremely sunny today and as I am in a great summer mood, I have decided to experiment some more and throw a summer inspired OOTD together.
