I was supposed to be uploading the sixth instalment of my party series but unfortunately, my photographer is now on vacation which means I have to find something else to blog about.

I thought I’d give y’all a sneak peak into my shoe closet following a statement a friend made about my footwear collection.

“I have never seen you in the same pair of shoes twice”

I promise you guys, I am not a shoe snob! LOL and I definitely do not play favorites with my shoes. I love them all equally.

I honestly cannot tell you how many pairs of shoes I own right now; maybe one day, I will do a footwear collection.

The pair photographed is dear to me because of the electrifying color and can we just take a moment to talk about those gold plated heels. Yes, I am loving that detail.

We are on to our fifth party look of the series and this one sees us going back to a concession stand in Topshop. Initially, I wasn’t going to include this piece in the series but I saw it hanging in my closet and it brought back so many happy memories that I just had to.

I am such a sucker for sparkly things especially gold sparkly things. I just feel like it is the only metallic color that complement my deep complexion. And whilst we are at it, can we just give a round of applause for how unimpressed I look in this post? I was scowling at the lack of sunlight outside. I’m sorry y’all! LOL

We are literally 9 days away from Christmas and Tis’ the season to be Stunning.

Today’s piece is from the ‘Abbey’ by Abbey Clancy Range for MATALAN.

Abbey Clancy, who happens to be a Model turned TV personality and now Designer has been designing for Matalan since A/W ’13 and I have to say, I love it.

I actually didn’t know that Abbey Clancy had a long-standing collaboration with Matalan until last week and I am just a little bit upset because her collections are absolutely fabulous. I feel like I missed out!

Her most recent release is a party-wear collection that is heavily inspired by the 70s and incorporates everything from sparkly sequins, cut out details, animal prints to tailored plunging jumpsuits. There is almost something for every woman.

How are y’all doing? I have to say, I am having a blast turning out my closet for this party series. I am rediscovering old favourites and finding new ways to reinvent them.

However, today’s party piece isn’t an old favourite. In fact, it is so very new and you can purchase it right from your nearest H&M. I fell in love and bought this piece because of the print but my love was further cemented when I took it home and tried it on.

Why is that? It’s just a printed backless dress, isn’t it?

Well, it looks like a dress and functions like a dress but really; it’s not a dress. It is actually a playsuit with a little side boob action.

It just doesn’t get any better than this. H&M, y’all hit the W with this one.
